This link is designed to keep you posted on your child's academic activities, expectations and assessments. I encourage all of you to visit the classroom and watch their creative minds at work. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.

Suggestions on how to support your child's learning:

* Support your child’s teacher.

* Help your child understand his/her responsibility

to follow the rules.

* Ask what they have learned today and how it

effects them.

* Admit when you do no know something and be

willing to find the answers.

* Show interest in their assignment.

Study SkillsGood grades increase opportunities for your child. They open doors to college and to careers. You can help your child get better grades by improving study skills.

Time ManagementManaging time is one of the most important and useful skills you can help your child learn. Dividing the semester, week and day into manageable sections helps your student track assignments, deadlines and activities.

Volunteer as a familyVolunteering as a family is a great way to invest free time – and it gives you an opportunity help others in the community. It is also a great resume-builder for students: many merit based scholarships require community service as part of the application.
